IMMACULATE’13, a national level technical event was organized by B.H. Gardi college
of Engg. & Tech. supported by ASME on 17th and 18th
March, 2013. Students of different colleges of Gujarat and other states took
part in this grand event.
IMMACULATE means pure. This event was organized purely on the basis to provide
platform to students to come up with new and different ideas and to shape it in
the real sense.
It’s a stage to have fun with education, an enjoyment with
knowledge, a laugh with a meaning. So this is the chance, rather an opportunity
to develop, innovate, to find, to gain and above all to be different.
The overall response was
overwhelming and more than 1000 entries were there this time.
The event started with the
inauguration ceremony by lightning the lamp by the chief guests Hon. D.V.
Mehta, chairman of Gardi Vidyapith , Mr. Prashant Mehta, C.E.O of Gardi
Vidyapith, Prof. S.B. Jadeja, Executive director of Gardi Vidyapith and other
dignitaries. In this inauguration ceremony a brief introduction regarding the
event was given to the participants to make them aware regarding the event.

All
the events were completed successfully on time and students enjoyed the event a
lot. The event was concluded with Valedictory function in the presence of all
the chief guests, Judges and participants.
Hon. D.V.Mehta , chairman of Gardi
Vidyapith delivered a speech congratulating all the winners and participants
and lauding the efforts of the coordinators who made the event possible. This
was followed by the video containing the gist of whole event that happened
during the day.
The
winners of various events were awarded with memento and certificate along with
prize money as per the rank scored.
The valedictory ceremony concluded
with the Vote of Thanks given by student coordinator of the event expressing
his gratitude to all those, whose efforts made the event a success.
Overall IMMACULATE’13 was a great learning experience not only for the
students who participated but also for those who organised it, as it gave them
a first-hand experience of handling resources and man power which is an
important quality that an engineer should possess.
Finally
it can be concluded that IMMACULATE
